TPMS Display Configuration
1. USB to serial driver cable
The USB to serial cable requires windows driver. Download from below link before any operation.
2. Set up the correct COM port for configurator
After driver has been installed, plug the USB cable into PC.
1. In Computer properties, go to 'Device manager'.
2. Expand 'Port (COM &LPT)', find 'USB-SERIAL CH340(C0M4)'.
CAUTION: 1. Port will only appear when USB to serial cable has plugged into PC.
2. COM4 is the number you will use for configurator manager.
3. COM port number will change in different PC and USB port.
4. Open the COM port when device is connecting with PC.
3. Interface Introduction-start up
This is the initial interface once Configurator Manager is running, if you got any error, please check
as below:
Make sure the .net framework 4 or above has been installed.
Make sure the USB to serial cable has been installed.
Make sure the COM Port is correct.
Section A:
This section is the window to display the configurator version (standard/beacon/COM/TP) and version
number (2.00).
Section B:
This section has provided some basic operation buttons and password input window to avoid access without
authorization.
Section C:
This is the section to flash the firmware of display.
Section D:
This is the most important window; it contains two sub tabs in this section. All the desired parameter
can be changed in this section.
Section E:
This section a log display window. The device will save the log continuously into a txt file and also
display in the log window.
Section F:
This is COM connection indicator, the communication between device and PC/laptop relies on the USB
connection. So please make sure the connection has been established.
3.1 Section A: Configurator version
3.2 Section B: Basic operation button
Read from dev: read the setting from device.
Save to dev: save the setting into device
Password: entry the password before any operation.
Initialize: reset to factory setting.
Reboot: reboot device
Import cfg file: import the device parameter from a XML file.
Export cfg file: export current setting into a XML file.
3.3 Section C: Firmware update
Load: load the firmware file.
Start: start to flash the firmware.
3.4 Section D: Parameter tab
This is main section where the device settings are changed.
3.4.1 Section D_sub: Setting
Basic Setup
EnterSleep Delay: the display will turn off in X seconds, if the vehicle is stop/no vibration.
ExitSleep Delay: the display will turn on in X seconds. If the vehicle is vibrating.
PressUnit: the pressure unit on the display.
TmepreatureUnit: Temperature unit on display.
Alarm Vlaue:
FrontTireHighAlarmValue: the maximum pressure for front tire alarm.
FrontTireLowaAlarmValue: the minimum pressure for front tire alarm.
rearTireHighAlarmValue: the maximum pressure for rear tire alarm
(if the number of the tire over than 4, this setting will work for all the rear tire.)
rearTireLowaAlarmValue: the minimum pressure for rear tire alarm.
(if the number of the tire over than 4, tis setting will work for all the rear tire.)
TemperatureHighAlarmValue: the maximum temperature for all tire.
3.4.2 Section D_sub: Alarm Value
Pressure unit: unit switch for KPa/PSI/Bar.
Receive all sensor data: device will display all received TPMS sensor data in the log window, not only
the one listed in
device.
TPMS ID: the sensor ID contains two part: position ID + original ID which print on the sticker. For
example, if you want
to install sensor '6C0C97FF' to the left side of 1st axle, position ID is 11. So 116C0C97FF should save
into
device.
CAUTION:
1. after all sensor has been stored inside the device, you should 'Read from dev' again, it this case,
all sensor will
match with the position icon.
2.if you want add/delete/change the position of the tire sensor, 'Read from dev' is required to let
sensor math with
position icon on the right side position diagram.
4. Operation example
