It has been designed for challenging conditions such as trailers, containers, boxcars, mining equipments, stationary and remote asset monitoring where permanent DC power supply is not always available. This robust all in one unit offers Solar panel, IP67 rating, large battery capacity, and the added advantage of a solar panel interface. The unit has been rigorously tested on the trailer and remote assets for than 4+ years with the design upgraded several times after the test results gained from real installation.

The solar panel is larger than almost all solar gps trackers on market. It has about 19.1% to 22% sunlight to energy conversion rate to support gps tracker working without vehicle’s battery power supply. But it also supports to be charged by vehicle’s battery. If user don’t change our default settings for data sending interval and sleep mode, device can work always with internal 10000mAh battery and solar power charging.

Industry level Ultra Low Consumption MCU
The MCU is an energy-efficient processor with a very low gate count. It is intended to be used for microcontroller and deeply embedded applications that require an areaoptimized processor. It can keep very low consumption on solar GPS tracker. The scenario which requires the higher power consumption is to send data out to server via 4G module.

Smart data sent logic: moving, parking, sleep mode
Several different modes for data sending to save power and reflect device working status.
working mode: normal, sleep, deep sleep, beacon.
Beacon: wake up in fixed time interval.
Normal: no sleep or debug purpose only.
sleep mode and deep sleep mode: same function. It wakes up and sleeps on move/sleep time interval. For sleep mode settings, user can set move interval, go to sleep delay and sleep interval.

User only need to put the solar gps tracking device onto the roof of vehicles or any assets, make sure solar panels exposed to sunlights, then done. User can use our tracking software platform.

4G | LTE Cat 1
The solar gps tracking device supports 2G, 3G, 4G together. Several types of 4g modules with different bands support guarantee that solar gps tracker can work almost all countries.
Fallback function supported if no 4G or 3G network. It means if no LTE FDD or LTE TDD network, 4G module will fallback to WCDMA network. If failed in searching WCDMA network, it will try to search Edge and GSM/GPRS networks.

4 strong magnets on bottom(optional)

temperature monitoring(optional)
DS18B20 chip temperature sensor connected to solar gps tracking device via 1-wire port. It can detect the temperature -40°C to +125°C. All temperature data would be uploaded to server for realtime monitoring and history record reports. Users can use this temperature monitoring function to detect the temperature of assets or remote areas where no electricity power.
